Rivalries
Afan Lido's main and bitter rivals are Port Talbot Town, who are based less than half a mile away from Afan Lido's ground. The two clubs' main rivalries are based on the fact that Aberavon is generally overshadowed by its neighbour, Port Talbot, the rivalry has resurfaced since Afan Lido gained promotion back to the top flight of Welsh football.
