Community
The AGS community is based on the AGS Forum and the AGS Internet Relay Chat channel. There have been real-world meetings of the community each summer for some years, known as "Mittens". There is also an ongoing blog covering the latest goings-on in AGS development, games and community. The community runs several competitions to create games, art, writing and music, as well as the annual AGS awards to honour the best of the year.

Famous quotes containing the word community:
“When a language createsas it doesa community within the present, it does so only by courtesy of a community between the present and the past.”
—Christopher Ricks (b. 1933)
“He thought that, because the community represents millions of people, therefore it must be millions of times more important than the individual, forgetting that the community is an abstraction from the many, and is not the many themselves.”
—D.H. (David Herbert)
“The people needed to be rehoused, but I feel disgusted and depressed when I see how they have done it. It did not suit the planners to think how they might deal with the community, or the individuals that made up the community. All they could think was, Sweep it away! The bureaucrats put their heads together, and if anyone had told them, A community is people, they would not have known what they were on about.”
—May Hobbs (b. 1938)
