Famous quotes containing the words advanced, photo and/or system:

Having advanced to the limit of boldness, child, you have stumbled against the lofty pedestal of Justice.
    Sophocles (497–406/5 B.C.)

    I was
the girl of the chain letter,
the girl full of talk of coffins and keyholes,
the one of the telephone bills,
the wrinkled photo and the lost connections....
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

The human body is not a thing or substance, given, but a continuous creation. The human body is an energy system ... which is never a complete structure; never static; is in perpetual inner self-construction and self-destruction; we destroy in order to make it new.
    Norman O. Brown (b. 1913)
