Famous quotes containing the words advanced and/or devices:
“Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath,
Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty.
Thou art not conquered. Beautys ensign yet
Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks,
And deaths pale flag is not advanced there.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“So that with much ado I was corrupted, and made to learn the dirty devices of this world.
Which now I unlearn, and become, as it were, a little child again that I may enter into the Kingdom of God.”
—Thomas Traherne (16361674)
