Drawing
Photoshop includes a few versions of the pen tool. The pen tool creates precise paths that can be manipulated using anchor points. The freeform pen tool allows the user to draw paths freehand, and with the magnetic pen tool, the drawn path attaches closely to outlines of objects in an image, which is useful for isolating them from a background.

Famous quotes containing the word drawing:
“The time to guard against corruption and tyranny, is before they shall have gotten hold on us. It is better to keep the wolf out of the fold, than to trust to drawing his teeth and talons after he shall have entered.”
—Thomas Jefferson (17431826)
“For later in the vast gloom of cities, only there you learn
How the ideas were good only because they had to die,
Leaving you alone and skinless, a drawing by Vesalius.”
—John Ashbery (b. 1927)
“These native villages are as unchanging as the woman in one of their stories. When she was called before a local justice he asked her age. I have 45 years. But, said the justice, you were forty-five when you appeared before me two years ago. SeƱor Judge, she replied proudly, drawing herself to her full height, I am not of those who are one thing today and another tomorrow!”
—State of New Mexico, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
