Acolhuacan

Acolhuacan or Aculhuacan (Nahuatl: ācōlhuahcān; ) was a pre-Columbian province in the east of the Valley of Mexico, inhabited by the Acolhua. Its capital was Texcoco (Tetzcoco). Other altepetl (city-states) in Acolhuacan included Coatl Ichan, Ecatepec, Teotihuacan, and Tepetlaoztoc.
