Order of Battle
It is unsure what the exact composition of the formation is, since the Peshawar Division has received several additional troops during the ongoing war on terror, but the peacetime order of battle is:
- HQ 7th Infantry Division; Peshawar
- 6 Infantry Brigade; Khar
- 27 Infantry Brigade; Landi Kotal
- 102 Infantry Brigade; Peshawar
- Division Troops; under HQ command, but usually parcelled out to the Brigades.
Locations and designations of brigades are not confirmed.

Famous quotes containing the words order and/or battle:
“Since [Rousseau’s] time, and largely thanks to him, the Ego has steadily tended to efface itself, and, for purposes of model, to become a manikin on which the toilet of education is to be draped in order to show the fit or misfit of the clothes. The object of study is the garment, not the figure.”
—Henry Brooks Adams (1838–1918)
“Probably the battle of Waterloo was won on the playing-fields of Eton, but the opening battles of all subsequent wars have been lost there.”
—George Orwell (1903–1950)
