Lineage
Constituted 10 July 1918 in the Regular Army as the 75th Infantry and assigned to the 13th Infantry Division. Organized August 1918 at Camp Lewis, Washington, from personnel of the 1st Infantry. Relieved from the 13th Division and demobilized 27 February 1919 at Camp Lewis.
Reconstituted 18 July 1941 in the regular army. Disbanded 4 August 1952.
