Locations and Operations
The Battalion is composed of the following elements a HQ Company, Three rifle Coy's A, B and C and a Support Company. The Battalion is spread across north Dublin with HQ and Support Company based in Mckee Barracks, And the remaining Three rifle companies posted in A Company in Swords,B Company in Navan and C Company in Kells. The Battalion is linked directly to the 5th Infantry Battalion who are also based in Mckee Barracks. The Battalion are highly active within the Defence Forces with members regularly attending exercises and training along with ceremonial duties.
