Every year the Atacama Crossing is raced in March, the Gobi March in June, and the Sahara Race in October. RacingThePlanet took the decision in 2008 that The Last Desert (Antarctica) would henceforth only be raced biannually to minimise its environmental impact, and usually takes place around the end of November.
