As of February 2012, 3 Idiots grossed roughly 385 crore (US$71 million). Box Office India declared the film an "All time Blockbuster", and it is one of the films on their list of "Biggest Blockbusters Ever in Hindi Cinema". A success party was organised to celebrate 3 Idiots box office success.
