300-page I Phone Bill
A 300-page iPhone bill from AT&T Mobility mailed in a box was the subject of a viral video by Justine Ezarik which became an Internet meme in August 2007. The bill, which came to $275, was an itemized record of all data transfers, including background traffic for email and text messaging, made during the billing period. Stories of unexpected billing issues began to circulate in blogs and the technical press after the Apple iPhone's heavily advertised and anticipated release, but this video clip brought the voluminous bills to the attention of the mass media.
Ten days later, after the video had been viewed more than 3 million times on the Internet, and had received international news coverage, AT&T sent iPhone users a text message outlining changes in its billing practices. The information technology magazine Computerworld included this event in its list of "Technology's 10 Most Mortifying Moments".

Famous quotes containing the words phone and/or bill:
“Nobody wants to phone me,
Even collect.”
—Cole Porter (18931964)
“Is a Bill of Rights a security for [religious liberty]? If there were but one sect in America, a Bill of Rights would be a small protection for liberty.... Freedom derives from a multiplicity of sects, which pervade America, and which is the best and only security for religious liberty in any society. For where there is such a variety of sects, there cannot be a majority of any one sect to oppress and persecute the rest.”
—James Madison (17511836)
