• Ethiopia – 10 were bought in Russia in 1999

• Hungary – 5 in 1995, originally 18 were bought
• Kazakhstan – 150
• Libya – 55 in 1995, according to another sources – 36
• Russia – 1,402 in active service, more than 1,600 in storage in 2007

• Syria – 50 in 1995 and in 2006
• Turkmenistan – 16
• Ukraine – 501
• United States – 7 (4 were transferred from Germany in 1993, 3 were transferred from Ukraine in 2000)
