20 Arietis is the Flamsteed designation for a star in the northern constellation of Aries and a member of the Hyades open cluster (Melotte 25). It has an apparent visual magnitude of 5.79, which is bright enough to be just faintly visible to the named eye. Based upon an annual parallax shift of 23.75 ± 0.33 mas, it is approximately 137 light-years (42 parsecs) distant from Earth.
This star has a stellar classification of F6 IV-V, with the spectrum indicating it shows properties of both a main sequence and a more evolved subgiant star. 20 Arietis is around 1.7 billion years old.
