Testing

The following open tests were held:

  • October 12, 2007 at Barber Motorsports Park.
  • February 27–28 at Homestead (night).
  • March 3–6 at Sebring.
  • March 19–20 at Sebring for former Champ Car teams.
  • March 24–25 at Homestead for former Champ Car teams (night).
  • August 13–14 at Infineon Raceway to evaluate new track 2.245-mile (3.613 km) configuration.
