Bulls Faced Catalans Dragons wanting revenge for their defeat in March, Bradford moved back within two points of top spot in Super League after a hard-fought 28-20 win over Les Catalans. The Bradford Bulls had been highly determined to avenge their recent engage Super League defeat and the motivation was evident right from the start with a clinical performance of controlled aggression and free flowing rugby to brush aside a disappointing Huddersfield Giants in a one-sided Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-final at the Grattan Stadium, Odsal, They trashed Huddersfield 52-22, Tame Tupou made his début in this game. The Bulls faced a tough schedule in June they beat Hull F.C. 34-8 in round 17,the game included 4 tries from Terry Newton, the game was Lesley Vainikolo's last at Grattan Stadium he didn't score a try, but managed to kick a memorable goal. Then went on to revenge their defeat in Cardiff by beating Leeds Rhinos 38-14 it was also Lesley Vainikolos last game with the Bulls. It was announced in June that Ian Henderson would be going to play for the New Zealand Warriors on a two year deal.
