2005 ASEAN Para Games
The 3rd ASEAN ParaGames was a biannual multi-sport event held after the 2005 Southeast Asian Games for athletes with physical disabilities. Organized by PhilSPADA, the Philippine Sports Association of Differently Abled, the 2005 ASEAN ParaGames was held in Manila, Philippines from December 14, 2005 to December 20, 2005. Participants came from 11 countries in Southeast Asia. The games, patterned after the Paralympics, included athletes with mobility disabilities, amputees, visual disabilities and those with cerebral palsy. The awards and closing ceremonies were held in the walled city of Intramuros, Manila.
Athletes in the said event participated in the 9th FESPIC Games, in Kuala Lumpur 2006.
