The 2004 ICC Champions Trophy was held in England in September 2004. Twelve teams, comprising the ten Test nations, Kenya, and – making their One Day International debut – the United States, competed in 15 matches spread over 16 days at three venues: Edgbaston, The Rose Bowl and The Oval.

Famous quotes containing the word champions:
“Myths and legends die hard in America. We love them for the extra dimension they provide, the illusion of near-infinite possibility to erase the narrow confines of most mens reality. Weird heroes and mould-breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of the rat race is not yet final.”
—Hunter S. Thompson (b. 1939)
