Daytona 250
The inaugural Daytona 250 (Chevy Silverado HD 250) was held February 18 at Daytona International Speedway. During this race, Geoffrey Bodine was involved in a serious accident that collected many trucks and damaged the fence, causing his truck to flip over several times and become engulfed in flames. He survived the accident. Also in this Race Kurt Busch makes his first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ends up finishing 2nd to Mike Wallace.
