S. Hussain Zaidi released a book by the name of Black Friday – The True Story of the Bombay Bomb Blasts about the 1993 Bombay bombings. It was later made into a film in 2004 by Indian film maker Anurag Kashyap named Black Friday. Babu Janardhanan's Mammootty-starrer Malayalam film entitled Bombay March 12 is also based on the bomb blasts.
