1990 NHL Entry Draft - Top Prospects

Top Prospects

Heading into the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Mike Ricci had spent the entire 1989–90 season ranked as the top prospect by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau. Prior to the release of the final rankings of North American skaters and goaltenders, it was speculated that Owen Nolan, Keith Primeau, and Petr Nedved would surpass Ricci; however, when the final rankings were released, Ricci remained as the top prospect. Jaromir Jagr was also considered to be one of the top prospects, but Central Scouting did not rank European players.

Famous quotes containing the words top and/or prospects:

Name me, if you can, a better feeling than the one you get when you’ve half a bottle of Chivas in the bag with a gram of coke up your nose and a teenage lovely pulling off her tube top in the next seat over while you’re doing a hundred miles an hour in a suburban side street.
    —P.J. (Patrick Jake)

A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener. So our prospects brighten on the influx of better thoughts.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
