Famous quotes containing the words cricket, world and/or cup:

The courage and daring of the Maroons strike like a purple beam across the history of Jamaica.
    Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960)

Together, we three, until the world crumbles and there is no longer a stone or a rock or a tree or a blade of grass.
Griffin Jay, and Harold Young. Mehemet Bey (Turhan Bey)

It is surely easier to confess a murder over a cup of coffee than in front of a jury.
    Friedrich Dürrenmatt (1921–1990)
